RENOVATION WORKS FOR SWIMMING POOL CHANGING ROOMS

Plans to renovate the Swimming Pool Changing Rooms have been re-activated. Work will commence in early January 2009.

During this period, temporary cubicles will be installed in the Male & Female toilets located next to the cafeteria on the lower deck.

The works will involve refurbishment of the existing Changing Rooms with a change of shower cubicles, vanity counters, new tiles, lighting fixtures, water heaters & the provision of toilets for wheel-chair users.

Whilst these works are in progress, the other faciilties will not be affected and members are encouraged to continue with their usual leisure & sporting activities.

We seek your understanding and we apologise for any inconvenience caused.

AIR-CONDITIONING IN MEMBERS' ROOM

The Club has been monitoring the usage of the Members' Room and has found it to be under-utilised. Often, the room is not used by members for days.

In view of this, plus the increased utility charges, the air-conditioning in the Members' Room will only be switched on upon request. This will also help the Club to save energy.

However for Sundays, when the usuage of the room is often high, the air-conditioning will be turned on from 10.00am.

GYM ENTRANCE FEE FOR GUESTS

Members are reminded that the Gym Entry Fee for their guest is $5.00 per entry per guest. Members are required to sign in their guests at the Reception Counter at the Main Building and then pay the guest admission fee of $3.00 per guest (for up to four guests), and $5.00 per additional guest.

If the Member's guest wishes to use other facilities at the Sports Complex or in the Main Building after the gym session, the Member is required to sign in his guest at the Reception Counter and pay the guest fee of $3.00 per guest (for up to four guests), and $5.00 per additional guest.

HATHA YOGA AND BOXERCISE CLASSES ON HOLD
Please note that the Hatha Yoga and Boxercise classes have been put on hold until further notice. We apologise for any disappointment.

RESIDENT BAND @ THE DECK BAR - THE ANGELS

The Angels will dazzle you with their eclectic repertoire of evergreens, Top 40, retro, R&B, ballroom, disco and much more.

Watch them take flight at The Deck Bar from 9 pm on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and the eve of Public Holidays.

CAR PARK DECALS

Members are advised not to discard car park decals, damaged or undamaged, when they scrap or change their cars. The existing car park decals are needed to exchange for a new decal.

For those who scrapped or changed their cars, a photocopy of your vehicle log book or LTA's deregistration notice of the scrapped vehicle is required for verification, to substantiate the replacement. Please provide a photocopy of your vehicle log book or COE for verification for first issuance of the car park decal.

Lost decals will be replaced at $50.00 each (plus GST).

SMOKING RULE

Please be reminded that smoking is only allowed at designated smoking areas in the Club’s Main Building.

Smoking is not allowed in the Sports Complex.
