Swimming Pool Changing Rooms Renovation Completed
We are pleased to inform you that the renovation of the male and female changing rooms facing the Swimming Pool, has been completed. Albeit, the changing rooms require some touching up, they are now open for use by members and their guests. We hope that you will enjoy the new and improved facilities and help us maintain them by treating them as if they are your own.
We thank you for your patience and tolerance during the renovation period and apologise for any inconvenience it may have caused you.
Paul & Babe Return to The Deck Bar
We are pleased to tell you that popular music duo, Paul & Babe returned in early June 2010 for their current engagement at the Deck Bar.
The duo, known for their smooth delivery of a wide variety of pop favourites and evergreens, will be playing five nights a week, including Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Eves of Public Holidays.

Newly-Installed Wireless Internet Infrastructure
We are pleased to inform you that the Club has completed the installation of the infrastructure to provide Wireless Internet Access throughout the Club, including the Sports Complex. This upgrading project was inevitable due to the end of the free limited Wireless Internet Access previously provided by iCell as part of a government initiative. After much consideration, the Management Committee decided to impose a reasonable set of fees to access the Internet wirelessly in the Club, as follows:

Please proceed to the Main Building's Front Office, or the Sports Complex reception if you wish to purchase a Wireless Internet Access plan. You will then be provided with a User ID and a Password, as well as a process of payment whereby you can charge to your account.
The validity period starts from the time the User ID and Password is issued to you, and the hours purchased will be based on usage within the valid days.
For your convenience, there is also a plan for members to pay a monthly subscription fee of only $10.00 for unlimited access. Application forms are available at the counters if you wish to sign up.
New Restaurant and Cafe at CBC: Iluka & Soul
We are pleased to inform you that the Club has engaged a new caterer - Amici Group of Amici Italian Restaurant of Holland Village fame - to operate the Restaurant and Cafe. The Restaurant, called ILuka Seaview Dining, at the Club's Upper Deck promises to offer the acclaimed international cuisine they are renowned for. Members can expect the new Soul Waterfront Cafe & Bar at the Lower Deck to serve local hawker favourites, appetisers, as well as breakfast.
Iluka is a semi-fine dining restaurant serving an international buffet, while Soul offers an a la carte menu featuring international cuisine and a wide range of beers, liquors, wines and cocktails at affordable prices.

Veranda Lounge Accessible 24 Hours
If you staying in our guest rooms, you do not need to go too far when you crave a light snack or drink in the middle of the night. Members and guests can purchase snacks and drinks from the vending machines in the Veranda Lounge which is now accessible 24 hours a day.
Gym Entry Fee for Guests
Members are reminded that if their guest wishes to use the Gym facilities, a Gym entry fee of $5.00 is applicable to each guest on top of the usual guest admission fee of $3.00 per guest (for up to four guests), and $6.00 per additional guest.
Car Park Decals
Members are advised not to discard car park decals, damaged or undamaged, when they scrap or change their cars. The existing car park decals are needed for exchange for new ones.
Members who have scrapped or changed their cars are required to provide the Club with a photocopy of their vehicle log book or LTA's deregistration notice of the scrapped vehicle, as this is required for verification and to substantiate the replacement. Please provide a photocopy of your vehicle log book or COE for verification for first issuance of the car park decal.
Lost decals will be replaced at $50.00 each (plus prevailing GST).
Smoking Rule
Please be reminded that smoking is only allowed at designated smoking areas in the Club’s Main Building. Smoking is not allowed anywhere in the Sports Complex.
Youth Development Bowling Programme
Calling all Young & Talented Bowlers! Changi Beach Club is introducing the “Youth Development Bowling Programme”.
Participants will be groomed and may stand a chance to represent Changi Beach Club in Inter-Club competitions.

What it should have been
In the April - June 2010 issue of Moments, it was stated in the article "CBC Sponsors S-Poly School of Business Annual D&D 2010" on page 2, that the Club sponsored a Weekend Getaway Voucher worth S$120 for the event. This is incorrect. The total worth of the Weekend Getaway Voucher is S$310.
